While I was going through my mail yesterday I saw something that I will like to share with you. This is how it goes.
“A rich landowner named Carl often rode around his vast estate so he could congratulate himself on his great wealth. One day while riding around his estate on his favorite horse, he saw Hans, an old tenant farmer. Hans was sitting under a tree when Carl rode by.
Hans said, ‘I was just thanking God for my food.’
Carl protested, ‘If that is all I had to eat, I wouldn’t feel like giving thanks.’
Hans replied, ‘God has given me everything I need, and I am thankful for it.’The old farmer added, ‘It is strange you should come by today because I had a dream last night. In my dream a voice told me, ‘The richest man in the valley will die tonight.’ I don’t know what it means, but I thought I ought to tell you.’

Carl snorted, ‘Dreams are nonsense,’ and galloped away, but he could not forget Hans’ words: ‘The richest man in the valley will die tonight.’ He was obviously the richest man in the valley, so he invited his doctor to his house that evening. Carl told the doctor what Hans had said. After a thorough examination, the doctor told the wealthy landowner, ‘Carl, you are as strong and healthy as a horse. There is no way you are going to die tonight.’

Nevertheless, for assurance, the doctor stayed with Carl, and they played cards through the night. The doctor left the next morning and Carl apologized for becoming so upset over the old man’s dream. At about nine o’clock, a messenger arrived at Carl’s door.
‘What is it?’ Carl demanded.
The messenger explained, ‘It’s about old Hans. He died last night in his sleep.’
I’m sure that there are some of you who are wondering why Hans died because he was not the richest man in the valley, but to my opinion Hans was the richest because he had Christ, he didn’t need earthly treasures causes he had heavenly treasures stored up for him and was thankful for everything God brought he’s way.

I’ve heard so many students say these words, “I want to be successful in life”. So I have a thing or two to tell you. Success comes when you develop yourself beyond where you currently are. So you have to work harder on yourself, improving yourself than you’ll do on the jobs you get. I tell you, you will get the job in a company and the salary that goes with it, that you deserve because of the level of skill you have. So you can work as hard as you want, long hours and everything, but as long as you stay at the same skill level, you will never go beyond that level of pay and promotion. If you want to change the way you are paid then you have to change. You’ve got to be will to do the things today others wouldn’t do in order to have the things tomorrow others wouldn’t have, you’ve got to work on yourself, develop your yourself, develop your mind, you don’t get in life what you want, you get in life what you are. I know you can’t change your destination overnight but you can change your direction overnight. Someone might want to ask me how I expect them to change their direction, well, it simple. Surround yourself with the best, the best people, the winners, successful people who exhibit and live consistent to values and skills you want to acquire and develop because people in life have an amazing power to influence your destiny.

Whoever said “you can’t take your car with you on a trip” apparently never vacationed in the Volkner Mobil RV. It’s the latest. Volkner Mobile, a German RV maker, has found a way to put a garage into its latest RVs. The only catch is that the RV can only accommodate lower car styles, like the BMW Z4 or Mercedes-SLK. Oh Gizmo puts it best, “If buying an RV of this caliber is well within your financial means then odds are you don’t want to be hauling some low-price, tow-friendly family sedan for taking day trips while on your vacation.” It is perfect for travellers hankering after a little more freedom on holiday, allowing you to take on excursions or trips to the supermarket without having to uproot the entire contents of their motor home at the same time. It is a home away from home with all the mod cons of 21st century living.

I was lying down, stretched out on the sofa. All the windows were opened and I was hoping I would survive the next few hours until either I turned on the generator or PHCN returned the power. I closed my eyes I wanted to shut out everything, especially the heat. Just as I was beginning to relax, I heard the unmistakable whining of a mosquito. My eyes flew open; I watched the mosquito zip this way and then that way. I got myself ready to kill it, if possible, wherever it would choose to land. Of all places to perch for its early dinner, the mosquito chose to land on my face. Now, I would ordinarily not think twice about killing any mosquito no matter what part of my body it is perched on, but as I happen to be experiencing a touch of migraine right now, it would be most unwise to hit my abdomen except perhaps with a feather. And so, I continued to watch the mosquito. It settled itself for a feast and as I watched I thought about how many times one sometimes lays in wait for an enemy or whomever. You wait and watch and when they least expect it, you strike. Sometimes, one is able to justify one’s actions. You might say to yourself “well, he struck first”. But is it possible to strike with exactly the same force you have been hit with? An eye for an eye some say but it may not always be applicable. If it was, I would have tried to suck the mosquito’s blood as it was doing mine instead of planning to kill it. Some of us might advise that you turn the other check. Well, you may, if you can; it really is all up to you. But one thing that happens most times is that whatever the course of action we choose to take in retaliation, chances are that, you might just find that you are adversely affected by events; especially, if you acted in anger. Decisions about what course of action we choose to take as we go down the sometimes bumpy, sometimes smooth path of life depends on us.

Shopping today, I saw some lovely or should I use the word beautiful diamonds rings on sale and for that extra sparkle, diamonds are your best bet when buying any jewelry. Diamonds are classic and timeless pieces that are never out of fashion, that’s why people invest in this precious stone. I saw some diamonds rings and necklaces in various forms, some in single pieces and some in matching set of necklaces, rings and bracelets. Some came in intricate designs with yellow or white gold chains. The elegantly fashioned diamond chandelier drop pendant on cable chain necklace has been masterfully precisely crafted for a stylish and sleek look. Worn with matching and a solitaire diamond ring, you are sure to turn heads when you walk into the room with that.

“Let’s rob her!” “Idiot! Look at her! She’s a peasant. Students don’t have any money!” “Then let’s abduct her! She’s young and strong. She’d make a good slave — and good slaves make good money.” The voices — harsh, gravely-gurgly, and not quite human — startled me awake. I didn’t know who they were, but it was obvious they weren’t friendly. I struggled to open my eyes. As my vision focused, I saw three red-skinned creatures standing around her. Each one wore a grimace, baring sharp teeth that looked capable of tearing through flesh in mere seconds. A word flashed into my mind: demons. The thought sent a cold shiver up and down my spine. “Now look what you’ve done! You both talked so loudly that you woke her up!” The tall, thin demon turned away from me to glare at the other two. His red-skinned face had a cruel, almost wolfish aspect. “What do you mean ‘we’?” said the short, pig-faced demon. He gave the leader a shove. “You’re twice as loud as either of us, Drefan!” The third demon nodded in agreement, his huge bat-like ears wobbling. “Don’t touch me, you fool!” Drefan drew his dagger from under his belt. He grabbed the pig-faced demon’s black tunic and pressed the blade against his nose. “One more move like that, Fyren, and I’ll slice off your nose!” As the demons bickered, I sat up and took a quick glance at my surroundings. Trees full of green leaves lined the smooth dirt path where I sat. I had no memory of how I had gotten here. Panic filled my chest. I rose to her feet. I wanted to run but I knew that if I made too much noise, the demons would realize I was trying to escape. Better to walk for a few yards. Then slip into the woods and lose them among the trees. “Hey! Where do you think you’re going?” Fyren shouted. I heard the sounds of boots pounding on the dirt path behind me. Too late! The demons were coming after me! I started running and didn’t look back. I angled to the right and plunged into the forest. Underbrush crashed beneath my feet. I leaped over bushes and fallen tree limbs. Thorns and branches tore my simple turquoise-colored dress and scratched her face, neck, and hands. But I kept running. Though I had longer legs than the demons, my dress slowed me down and I had nothing but my body to part the underbrush. Behind me, she could hear the demons hacking at the vegetation with their daggers. “There she is! I see her!” “So do I!” Running only a few yards ahead of the goblins, I spotted a break in the trees with sunlight and tall grass beyond. “Stop, girl! Or things will get even worse for you!” The demons sounded so close now. A claw scraped the back of my neck and hooked my collar. I screamed and woke up in my bed sucked with sweat. I switch on the light and saw the book that I had been reading before I fall asleep, Temple of the Dragonslayer. Then the dream and the book made a connection in my mind. I was living the life of Nearra in my dream and the demons where goblins but it felt so real but coming to think about it I didn’t know what happened to me hum…to Nearra at the end, so I pick up the book and continue reading in anticipation. You should read the book its interesting.

I know that some times you find it hard to loose weight but do you know what? it may sound too good to be true, all you have to do to reach your ideal weight is eat as much fruit as you can every day. If you don’t believe it or just want to know more, you definitely have to read further. But before you do that, you might want to calculate your ideal weight first.
First, I have found out that, it’s best to focus on feeling good. Secondly, in order to live a healthy and energetic life, attempting to lose weight only will not be the key. There are some other changes you might want to bring into your life. In order to have the cells of your body function properly, they have to receive the right nutritious elements and toxins must be kept away from them as much as possible and should be disposed of properly. In order to reach that goal there are recommendations i have for you:
1) Consume as much as you can of the ‘right nutrition’
After much research a great deal of scientists have come to the agreement that:
Raw fruits and (cooked) vegetables are the right nutrition for human beings.
If you want to succeed in living a truly healthy life, the best thing to do is to consume as much of the ‘right nutrition’ as possible each day. The more raw fruits and (cooked) vegetables you eat, the more your appetite for them increases and you will end up feeding your body with nothing but the right nutrition!
If you want to lose some weight permanently in a period of, say, six weeks (this period depends on your current eating pattern) the best thing to do is eat (or squeeze) five fruits every day.
If you have realized a consumption of five fruits a day you are ready to take the next step by consuming even more of the ‘right nutrition’. To help you with this, we have put together a ‘right nutrition’ list and a ‘wrong nutrition’ list. You can print the lists and put them on your kitchen wall. Every time you eat something, check if it is included in the ‘right nutrition’ list or the ‘wrong nutrition’ list. If it is from the ‘wrong nutrition’ list try to replace it by something from the right list. If you cannot replace the ‘wrong nutrition’ for some kind of reason, enjoy it and do not feel guilty about it!
In other words, losing weight it is important to live a healthier life and a healthy life starts with eating healthy food (and raw fruits and vegetables are the healthiest food). We recommend you start your weight loss program by having five fruits a day and focus on feeling good.

2) Avoid as much as you can of the ‘wrong nutrition’;
If you want to lose weight quickly, just eating or squeezing five pieces of fresh fruit a day will not be enough. You’ll have to avoid as much food from the ‘wrong nutrition’ list as you can. In fact it’s a simple list to remember, only two food groups are mentioned: stimulants and animal food. Now this list might seem simple enough but it is actually quite difficult to find out which products in the supermarket do or do not contain one of the products mentioned on the list. If you check out the labels, you will notice that almost every product contains a stimulant, mostly white refined sugar or some kind of animal-based product, often stock.
So, the foods you have to stay away from as much as possible if you want to help your body function properly and thus lose the excess weight are stimulants and animal based food.
3) Exercise moderately
Just a bit of exercise will do. It is important though to get some exercise every day especially if you are in a job where you sit down all day. A half-an-hour walk a day will do. Of course more exercise is always better but never feel bad if you can’t get yourself to do it. If you just take that walk for at least half an hour each day, you’ll be fine. Stretching your muscles is also good; it makes you more conscious of your body.
4) Be happy with every small change you have been able to make permanently.
Your body reacts like an oil tanker so if you want to change course it will take some time. Every structural change in the right direction is one to be proud of as long as it is permanent. After making a change it will take about six weeks before a change becomes permanent and part of your daily life.

5) Be smart
If you want to be slim, you have to be smart: change your eating pattern permanently. In this way, you will lose those pounds forever! Remember this: after eating five to nine pieces of fruit a day for a few months you will notice that your appetite for fruit has increased structurally and your appetite for stimulants will certainly have decreased! Try it out. Its really like magic!
In other words the more fruit you eat, the more fruit you eat. It’s as simple as that.
5) Don’t make losing weight more complicated as it is
Step 5: Just follow the four steps mentioned before and do not complicate things when doing so. Be easy on yourself as long as you are working on it. Just follow the simple steps we give you on this page and eating healthy will not be a punishment anymore. It just will become a whole lot of fun!
