all at all. I want to assure you that from henceforth things will be different. That I promise. So once again, my name is Othniel Morkly sigining in. Hey! Take note of that name it’s one-in-a-million.

Today, I have got a serious topic I’d like to share and discuss with you.
It’s about MONEY. What started me thinking about Money, and how it seems to be
abundant with some and yet so scarce with others, was that I came across it’s
laws being rehearsed by Brian Tracy in an Audio CD I listened to not so long
ago. Right then, I decided to take out the time and share these series of posts
with you. These laws might very well be the turning point in your financial
uphill ascension.

Have you ever heard the quote “The Love of Money is the root of all Evil”? It always baffled my mind. I guess you are familiar with it. On simple inspection of the quote, it seems to condemn those who love to acquire and accumulate money. Thereby accusing all rich and wealthy, of tendering, watering and rearing up the root of all evil (money). For how else do you explain the ever-growing increase in the rate of their income if they don’t love money? But I differ in perceptional view. If you pay due diligence in a thorough implicit examination of the quote, you’ll find out that it is actually those who actually LACK Money and must do anything to acquire it, that indulge in all manner of excesses in order for it’s (Money) acquisition.

George Bernard Shaw’s quotation “Lack of money is the root of all evil.”, which sounds like it contradicts the former mentioned, in reality only goes to prove it’s authenticity. Interview a married couple having a rough time, 8 out of 10 times, the argument it revolves around money issues. Most of our Jail and Prisons houses are nearly full due to inmates who Lacked money and tried to get it at all cost.

You know, one question that has always bothered me, up until recently, is why some people earn $10’000 dollars a year, and others earn the same amount ($10’000) every month. What is the difference? Do they drink petrol? Do they breathe fire? Can they burn the sea? Or perhaps can they make a hole in the river? or are they the loyal patronizes of Money-doublers, or do they invest in stocks market we have no ideas about? I believe that the answer lies in the laws that govern the acquisition and maintenance of money. “Money tends to flow towards people who can use it in the most productive ways and away from those who spend frivolously or in unproductive ways.” – Brian Tracy

LAWS OF MONEY

#1 The Law of “Cause and Effect”

“All wealth, health, success etc are the direct or indirect ‘effect‘ of specific ‘causes‘.

Financial Success is an Effect and as such, it proceeds from certain specific Causes; if you apply those same Causes in your own life you get the same Effect that many successful people have gotten. For example, the molecular formula for water (H₂O) is the same any where in the world. Once you have 2 parts of Hydrogen coming together to bond with one part of Oxygen, automatically water is the resultant effect. It then follows that we, in our search for the secrets and mysteries of the rich and wealthy, must attempt to understand and follow suite in applying the laws which they too have followed and have become financially empowered. We must endeavor to understand the prevailing conditions at the time of their break through and their thought patterns that enabled their liberation.

If you have an expectation towards a certain event, you create those events by the way you think about them especially when they have to do with you. As I mentioned earlier, “All wealth, health, success etc are the direct or indirect ‘effect‘ of specific ‘causes‘. Note that, Wealth is not a Cause but an Effect. Thoughts are Causes according to Brian. Thoughts are creative. If you desire a certain resultant Effect, then implement the instruments of Causes that will bring it to your expected end. You become what you think about most of the time. It is not the world outside of you that dictates your conditions, it is the world inside of you. Specifically, it is the way you think about money, and about your financial situation that largely determines your financial situation today.

So start today, begin to think of yourself in a different way. Expect to succeed. March forward into your dream. Possess your destiny and control the future. INTERRUPT THOSE SELF-LIMITING THOUGHTS! right in the middle of their procession and begin to create your own private world just the way you envision and dream about it. Dare to dream big!

FIDE World Chess Championship 2006 was a chess match between Classical World Chess Champion Vladimir Kramnik, and FIDE World Chess Champion Veselin Topalov. The match, which was won by Kramnik, determined, for the first time in 13 years, the undisputed World Chess Champion. The match was played between September 23 and October 13, 2006, in Elista, Kalmykia, Russia.

Since Garry Kasparov split from FIDE in 1993, there have been two world chess champions. There has been the ‘Classical’ world champion, the title that only passes on to a player when he beats the previous world champion. This was held by Kasparov, until he was defeated by Kramnik in the Classical World Chess Championship 2000. There has also been the ‘Official’ FIDE world champion, held since 2005 by Topalov.For the first time since the 1993 split, this 2006 match brings the two titleholders together in a match to unify the World Chess Championship.

In past encounters, Kramnik had defeated Topalov 10 times, lost 5 games, with 24 draws. (This becomes +19 ?9 =34 if rapid and blindfold games are included). In classical time control games since the beginning of 2004, the score is 2 wins each, with 3 draws.

Match conditions

The match is usually the best of 12 games. Players score 1 point for a win and half a point for a draw. If, after 12 games, the score is tied at 6 points each, then a tie-break is to be held.

For those of you who don’t know or understand the principles that guide the game of chess, I say you are missing a whole lot of fun. In fact, while putting together this post, the idea just occurred to me that I could do a series of “how-to” posts on the game of chess and introduce new and intending players to the beautiful game of chess. It’s totally AWESOME! Serious! The Pope Benedict XVI has invited Muslim envoys for talks, part of a diplomatic offensive to repair rifts caused by his recent remarks on Islam, a lecture that sparked days of sometimes violent protests in Muslim countries, prompting the pontiff to say at the weekend that he was “deeply sorry” for any offence and attributing Muslim anger to an “unfortunate misunderstanding”.

Although the violence has since eased, signs of residual anger within the Muslim world were clearly evident at Friday prayers. About 2,000 peaceful demonstrators in the West Bank town of Ramallah chanted slogans denouncing the pope, while in Iraq an aide to revered Shiite cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani called for an apology for the “harmful and objectionable” remarks.

It is believed that the presence of the Turkish ambassador at the meeting is significant as the pope is scheduled to visit Turkey on November 28-30 — his first trip to a Muslim-majority country.

Microsoft is aiming to capitalise on the user-generated video phenomenon by launching an online service to compete with YouTube, Google and Yahoo. I wonder many times why can’t these Microsoft guys ever do anything unique and original for themselves? SoapBox as it is called will start testing today but will be officially launched in 6 months time.

YouTube had 34 million visitors last month, according to Nielsen/NetRatings, while MSN Video attracts about 12m. MSN Video was once the most popular video site until fans of user-generated content propelled YouTube, MySpace and Google past Microsoft.

An earlier review of the Soapbox beta by website Cnet said it was “disappointing”. “It’s a slightly better sharing service than YouTube in some small technical ways,” wrote Cnet’s Rafe Needleman.

Egypt – Al-Qaida in Iraq and its allies warned Pope Benedict XVI today that he and the West were “doomed” and proclaimed that the holy war would continue until Islam dominates the world. The statement said that the Quran tells Muslims in many occasions that “jihad continues and should never stop until dooms day where this religion ends victorious.”

Benedict on Tuesday in Germany had quoted from a book recounting a conversation between 14th century Byzantine Christian Emperor Manuel Paleologos II and an educated Persian on the truths of Christianity and Islam. The group also accused U.S. President George W. Bush of initiating the “new Crusades campaign against Islam by his invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq while the servant of the cross, the pope of the Vatican, is continuing this path by his blatant attack on Islam, its prophet … and especially his talk about jihad.”

“The emperor comes to speak about the issue of jihad, holy war,” the pope said.

“He said, I quote, ‘Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and nhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached,’” he quoted the emperor as saying.

The pope on Sunday said that he was “deeply sorry” about the angry reaction and said the remarks came from a text that didn’t reflect his own opinion.

Turkey’s ruling Islamic-rooted party joined a wave of criticism of Pope Benedict XVI on Friday, accusing him of trying to revive the spirit of the Crusades with remarks he made about Islam likening the pope to Hitler and Mussolini. Muslim leaders in the Middle East expressed dismay, and Pakistan’s parliament unanimously condemned him.

The Vatican said the pope did not intend the remarks made in
Germany on Tuesday during an address at a university to be offensive. The pope quoted from a book recounting a conversation between 14th century Byzantine Christian Emperor Manuel Paleologos II and a Persian scholar on the truths of Christianity and Islam.

“The emperor comes to speak about the issue of jihad, holy
war,” the pope said. “He said, I quote, ‘Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached,’” he quoted the emperor as saying. He did not explicitly agree with them nor repudiate them.

Turkey’s top Islamic cleric, Religious Affairs Directorate head Ali Bardakoglu, asked Benedict on Thursday to apologize about the remarks and unleashed a string of accusations against Christianity, raising tensions before the pontiff’s planned visit to Turkey in November on what would be his  first papal pilgrimage in a Muslim country.

The torrent of rage unleashed by Benedict’s comments in a speech in Germany stirred fears of violent anti-Western protests like those that followed the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.

Two churches in the West Bank were hit by firebombs Saturday, and a group claiming responsibility said it was protesting Benedict’s words. Scattered protests elsewhere, however, have been peaceful.

Last Friday, astronomers at Caltech declared the discovery of a 10^th or 9 ^thplanet. I don’t know which to choose, since Pluto has been demoted. The new celestial body, which the International Astronomical Union has dubbed 2003UB313, is larger than our solar system’s smallest planet, Pluto. After over a year of hanging in maybe-planet limbo, newly-classified 2003 UB313, nicknamed Xena, now has a permanent name: Eris, goddess of strife. Its moon will be named Dysnomia, after the goddess of lawlessness — in Greek mythology, Eris’s daughter — certainly not a reference there… I don’t think  In the same IAU announcement (PDF), Pluto was given its official minor planet number: 134340.

Eris is larger than Pluto, which put scientists in the fix of having to call them both planets – or neither. In mythology, Eris caused a quarrel among goddesses that sparked the Trojan War. In real life, Eris also caused strife, forcing scientists to produce a strict definition of the term planet – and that eventually led to Pluto losing the status it had held since its discovery in 1930. Now isn’t that interesting?

On September 6, 2006, at 8:27 a.m. (Japan Standard Time), Princess Kiko gave birth to a baby boy, by Caesarean section. The child weighed 5 lbs 10 oz (2556 g) at birth. The child, who will not be named until a ceremony seven days after his birth, which will be next week Tuesday, is the first male heir to be born into the imperial family in 41 years.

Princess Kiko (Japanese:, Akishino-no-miya Kiko-shinn?hi), born 11 September 1966 as Kawashima Kiko, is the wife of Prince Akishino, who is the second son of the Emperor Akihito, and the Empress Michiko of Japan. Guess what? The Top 100 global brands for the year 2006 are out. The truth is every company wants its brand to get bigger. The Google name is stronger than ever: In this year’s ranking it gained 46% in brand value — the biggest year-over-year rise of any company ever on the list. Revenues climbed by 105% last year. With market share in Internet search still surging, it can afford to gamble with its universally recognizable brand. That allows Google to launch a slew of new products with small investments, gain valuable user input at early stages of development, and in turn challenge market leaders such as Microsoft (MSFT, news, msgs) in mature businesses.
