Once again, this year, the Blogger awards are almost here and votes are pouring in like rain.
The categories range from Best Humorous weblog, to Best Web development tool, to Best food weblog, to Best sports weblog, Best Technology weblog, to Best overall Weblog e.t.c
Some of the finalists from last year still remain while some new kids have begun to prove themselves on the BLO-G-K.
For the Best Weblog Overall, boingboing has won it a record 2 times out of 7 editions, and back to back too (in 2004 and 2005) and has been nominated since 2003. Last years winner, PostSecret, is still among the finalists and is against almost the same competetion as last year, with the exception of Treehugger and Cuteoverload who didn’t make it this time. Replacing them as finalists are Gizmodo and GoFugYourself and if you ask me I don’t think I’ll be able to guess who wins this category. But then, it all depends on who you vote – rememeber voting closes on the 2nd of February 10.00 PM EST and the winners will be announced on March 12th.
