Today I was going through a book, Cesar’s Way, by Cesar Millan and I was so surprised when I read these lines “…my natural talent with dogs impressed responsible dog owners, and they very generously recommended me to their friends and colleagues, many of them are celebrities. I did no advertising; my business was strictly word of mouth”
Ever since I decided to venture into the Network marketing Industry, that’s all I’ve ever done, and I never really ponder on the power or force that goes along with it, until now.
It is so easy to believe the recommendation of a friend and that is the principle behind network marketing. As I kept thinking about it, I remember times when I would disagree with some of the recommendations of my friends, but rather than back down, they’ll stick to their story and finally get me on their side, even when they don’t, I’ll usually think about the argument for quite some time.
Now that I’m working, I see no difference; I just get some money out of recommending health and wellness to people. Isn’t that wonderful? I don’t think I’ll ever get discourage after reading these words by Cesar Millan, he was into dogs and he succeeded by word of mouth, so who says I can’t do it, after all it is my profession.
I just want all my colleagues (especially iVEN) to know that if you ever feel down or feel like quitting, remember these words by Cesar “word of mouth is an amazing thing. Even in the large city, the newest hot gossip item or tip can spread like wildfire.”
