There is no way you can succeed in network marketing, if you do not develop your mind. See, the beauty about it, is that after a few months, things about you will change. It will affect your life; the way you talk, how you make decision and especially, your mindset. You would have met so many people and made a lot of good and bad decisions, made mistakes and then, look for ways to be better. I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and telling how being involved with this network marketing company has built and developed my mind. I’m saying that because, many network marketing companies operate with different principles. TNI (Tahitian Noni International) makes you have a feeling for the people; you look beyond yourself and see how you can help others.
You’ve got to read books, do researches, watch or listen to motivational tapes that will encourage you and build up or influence your mindset. When I read ‘Your first year in network marketing‘, authored by Mark Yarnell and Rene Reid Yarnell, I saw the stories, experiences and results as a far fetch and unreal thing because it didn’t happen to me. I would say, “I would have done this a different way, I would have said this; so many I would haves. I tell you it was more real to me because it was now my story. I was on the battle field getting shot by rejection bullets, nasty condescending looks and comments and even unconscious, bad remarks. But from Mark and Rene’s book I got a lot of encouragement, ideas on how to do it better, and corrections on the mistakes I made and advice on everything you need to know to succeed in network marketing, such as proven systems for recruiting, training, growing and supporting your downline. They also talked about strategies on how to overcome those first-year obstacles and position you for lifelong success. There are a lot of things you can learn from the book in an easy, step-by-step approach.
You will learn to:
•Deal with rejection
•Recruit and train
•Avoid over managing your downline
•Remain focused
•Stay enthusiastic
•Avoid unrealistic expectations
•Conduct those in-home meetings
•Ease out of another profession
In fact, you owe it to yourself to read this inspiring book!
Doug Wead, former special assistant to the president, the Bush Administration said, “This will be the Bible of Network Marketing.” I totally believe it.
