Shirley and I got on the bus on our way to the central market. There was bad traffic and we got there late (later than was scheduled). We bought the few things that we needed to get and went to the tailors to get our suits. When we got there, the tailor said he was almost done which struck up our anger because he said it would be ready before we come. We decided to wait a while and then, we collected the suits when he was done which left three hours ahead for us to get home early. We had a church service scheduled and we didn’t want to be late. Finally on our way home, we met this terrible stand still traffic. It was annoying and it was bad. We were on the road for a long time and the time kept drawing near to our scheduled time of 6:00pm for the service. We were scared that our parents would have to go to church without us and we would have to go like this, (not dressed for church) it was unimaginable. We got home in haste. Now, mad was an understatement for the reaction we got from my dad. I felt really bad because they had to wait for us to get ready and then dad began explaining why we could have saved time when we found out that all the suits were not ready. He said we could have left them and came back later. It was then that I began reasoning with him, I became mad with myself. It was something that I didn’t think of and it definitely made sense. I apologized and promised him that it would never happen again. It was a really bad day for me.
