My name is Busola Wusu I was born on the 23rd of May 1981. I graduated from the Department of Finance last year with a G.P of 4.62. If you ask me, I don’t think I deserve that kind of a result. I have never seen myself as an Efiko (book worm). All I did was to be punctual in class, read like a normal student, do all assignments, and do all the necessary things a normal student would do (nothing spectacular) to make my papers. Right now I’m serving at Akwa Ibom. I won’t say that I enjoyed the orientation. The first week was stressful; I did not get a room till after three days into camp. There was no fun, it was just a thing of routine and there was nothing really challenging. I was counting the days to the end of the whole thing. Now, Let me tell you some more about myself. I love listening to music, not loud music but something soothing and inspiring. I also love going out, sleeping, reading (not school books oh!). I consider myself as friendly; I try to get along with everybody. I believe in being honest, respectful and diligent. I respect people who have a heart for God, who have an excellent spirit and strive to be the best that they can be in life. I can’t stand people who cheat. They don’t try to make an effort to do things the right way. It really irritates me. Okay, that is enough about me. Let me tell you what I want to do in future. I want to do a Masters and PhD in Finance. I intend to do both abroad. I feel that if I travel out, I will be more exposed. I hope to use whatever expertise I acquire to help my country. If you ask me what I think about Nigeria’s future, I‘ll say I see Nigeria living up to her potential, I see her corruption free. I see a country where there is justice and equity. I believe I can help build the Nigerian economy. I believe God put me in this country for a special reason and if He did that, then I will not cast my pearls before swine. Nigeria is where God put me. I don’t want to live anywhere else. That might sound strange or unbelievable to you but I mean it. I will do my best to help my country. I see that students generally don’t have faith in the society anymore, they don’t even have faith in themselves, they don’t believe in good values. That shouldn’t be so. You shouldn’t give up on the good things in life. Always stand for what is right. Believe in positive values. Make an effort to do things the right way and everything will come out fine. What can I say about UNILAG? Well… Its just there and I don’t think there is any thing extraordinary about the school. I don’t think UNILAG made me what I am today though they contributed their quota. This I can say, “I don’t miss UNILAG” (Maybe not yet).

your goals will surely come thru, i also believe that God but me in Nigeria for a purpose and that purpose must be achieved.
