Hope you have enjoyed these series so far. Well, this is the final episode in the series. Here are some of the entre-qualities that I think any aspiring young entrepreneur should desire to have.

You have got to always think of new ideas and new ways to make money or increase your business. You should not be afraid to put these ideas to use.

Entrepreneurs are famous for being loners – committed individualists who seek neither advice nor approval from anyone or anything but their own vision of what their enterprises could one day become. But perhaps that reputation should be revised, because it’s easy to find entrepreneurs who are actually ready and willing to accept help in overcoming the obstacles to achieving their goals.
Personally in this day and age I dont think you should be a loner. Gone are the days of the industralists who needed a solitary environment to stay and meditate for a long time to come up with an  entirely new idea to create wealth. In this age of infomation there is hardly anything to invent other than to modify what someone else has done and make it unique for yourself. Therefore the need for interaction with other people and utilization of other people’s ideas as a form of business leverage.

You should be an honourable person who does business based on a handshake or a promise. This speaks of integrity. You tend to form strong associations with others who share this work ethic.

Entrepreneurs believe in the old adage, “the early bird gets the worm.” They sleep and eat enough to maintain their energy levels but they don’t usually linger over non-productive tasks. These tasks include things that are not directed towards achieving your goal.

Finally you’ve got to set aside time for leisure activities and family. Your form of relaxation is your work because you find pleasure doing your work but, you should realize the importance of downtime, (i.e when you are not working) and spend time with your family.

I have succeeded in showing you the characteristics that an entrepreneur should have. Do not worry if you do not have all these qualities. With determination you can imbibe these qualities because entrepreneurs are made, not born. Hmmmm… am I correct? Was I born an entrepreneur or was it my decision to become one? I also wonder if this decision was genetic. I am not sure.
