Today, I tried to be in school very early, expecting that my lecturer will be around. Well, he had not showed up by the time I arrived, so, I looked for somewhere to sit down to gather myself together before he came. A few minutes before the time of the lecture, I walked towards the class. On my way, I saw some my course mates and they told me that the lecturer had not yet arrived. I still decided to go to the class with some of my friends hoping he would come. We waited for about five minutes. When the lecturer did not show up, we went to another lecturer that also teaches the same course to fill up for the original lecturer. When we got to his office, he was very busy trying to record results of his 200 level students. He told us that he could not take the class and that we should go back and still wait for our lecturer. “He may still come”, he said. We went back to the class and waited for about 2 hours. At the end of it all, the lecturer, unfortunately, did not show up. It wasn’t a pleasant experience at all and, what a discouraging way to begin my day.
