I had just finished talking to my friend on the phone and when my dad called me to come and listen to a news-flash on the radio. The 7:00 am FRCN Network News reported that the Committee of Pro-Chancellors said that all lecturers that participated in the industrial strike would not be paid their salaries for the month of June. It was disheartening. I had just finish jubilating on the phone then I hear a death sentence. It was a bad feeling.
