Hi there, have you ever thought life is unfair and that it has dished out much more than you can bear? Or, let’s be more specific. You feel that God is unfair or, how could he possibly have allowed some things to happen? If you have ever felt this way, don’t worry. No, you’re not evil, you are just being a typical human being, like me, like several others. Many times we feel we’ve been punished with the heaviest load in the world but really, is your plight that bad? For starters, let me paint you a picture. Imagine you are the first child of two wonderful parents. But guess what, when the doctor holds you up at birth, he is shocked beyond words. Yes, you are breathing normally, alright, but no, nothing quite prepared the doctor for this. The scans did not even warn him. You have no arms and no legs! What will he tell your parents?
This is Nick Vujicic’s story. Nick Vujicik is one incredible guy. He has no arms and no legs but, he is living a life without limits. Just to give you a little background. A native of Australia, Nick was born on December 4, 1982, which means he’s 23 years old, just like me. Like every child, he went through all of life’s growing stages, but with the harsh reality that he was different, really different. He was bullied in school due to his disadvantaged position, and there were times he wanted to just end it all but the support of his parents geared him on.
At the age of fifteen, Nick Vujicik gave his to Christ. Despite his condition, he takes care of himself and is independent. On account of the various situations he has gone through, he has a passion to share his story with others so they can cope with whatever challenges life throws up at them. He also wants to encourage others to live to their fullest potential.
Nick has many dreams and goals, some of which include a desire to become the best witness of God’s love and hope, and also to become an international inspirational speaker who is used as a vessel in both Christian and non-Christian circles. Additionally, he has to goals to become financially independent by the age of 25 through real estate investments, and also modify a car that he can drive, and be interviewed to share his story on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”! He also wants to write several best-selling books. Currently he is working on a book titled “No arms, No legs and No worries! He hopes to finish the book by the end of the year.
He currently holds a degree in financial planning and accounting. He is a also a motivational speaker who has given speeches that relate to, and encourage, young people.
Nick Vujicic can be described in Paul Colman’s words as a man with a big heart and a tenacious spirit that is both captivating and enthralling.
Becky this is really incredible. I can’t imagine mysef without arms and legs, I would feel totally useless!!! Butr thank God for a man like Nick Vujicik. Whwn I hear about people like this I should not have any excuse for not succeeding.
