Staying blogged to this series would bring to your remembrance how I was beaten by the rain. Well this is the effect. Waking up wasn’t that easy and to make it worse I felt like I had just concluded a fight and was pumelled several times in the head. My head was so heavy that I couldnt think straight. Saying good morning wasn’t so easy because I wasn’t myself. I barely made it through morning devotion and after it I decided to just take a nap in my friends place nearby. On my way I met my uncle who saw my predicament and decided to give me Noni but my sick system rejected it. My uncle then sprinkled water on me after which I felt better, pulled myself together and headed for my friends place where I slept like a log of wood. While I was busy enjoying the rest I was awoken by the unresisting aroma of noodles that my mum had so graciously brought for me. My appetite was aroused from it’s slumber and I downed the zesty meal in a few seconds, Uuummm ! If you are a lover of noodles, especially the chicken flavoured one, (forget about bird flu for a minute), you’ll understand how I felt after that meal. I later took the drugs that were prescribed for me by my aunty (a reputable doctor). Thereafter my friends came in to see me. They told me many rib-cracking jokes to keep my mind off of the illness. I enjoyed their visit. While we were there Rev. Akintade, a good friend of my Dad came to pray for me. I believe the prayer was very instrumental to my recovery. After a while, my friends had mercy on my ribs and decided to allow me to take a little rest. I went to bed knowing that, by God’s grace I would feel much better the next day and believe me, it came to pass. Hurray. Stay tuned for more news from the life and times of the Fired Blogger. Bye for now.

This is funny indeed but fired bogger, permit me to ask if you were actually sick because I wonder how your system could have rejected Noni but couldn’t resist the noodles. Be honest. I think you were actually hungry.
