
Green Tea does not reduce risk of heart disease, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has concluded. The belief that drinking green tea confers health benefits on the cardiovascular system was debunked by the FDA in a statement where it said that the FDA reviewed several articles but found no evidence to support claim of the beverage’s health benefits.
Green tea is brewed from the leaves of Camella Sinensis. Unlike black and Oolong tea , green tea is made from unfermented tea leaves.
