Thank You, Lord!
I thank you Lord for your saving grace
I thank you for the love you sent down to me from above
I thank you for the friends you’ve placed in my life; friends like Elihu that help and encourage in time of pain and strife. There is just no way I can express how much each of them means to me.
I thank you for the guardian angels; I know they are sent by you
I asked for one, not two, not three, not four, but you sent more than a few.
How they always seem to walk into my world when it seems the most dreary.
Oh, how all of them have come to mean so much to me!
And like a glimpse of your lovely touch;
So that I don’t lose you completely despite my seclusion, and warped perceptions and fantasy of this world filled with illusions
I have always known that you alone are the answer;
though,sometimes got lost when preyed on by doubt
But, here I thank you for caring enough
to break my walls
I know it was tough, but I was of a special kind. I know you found me as the right person
For although I seem as gentle as a newborn kitten,
I know many that I’ve bawled out in my confusion
which only served to push me further into my self imposed prison
I thank you for being stronger then I could be. For you alone are why I can now say I see
So, thank you! oh, so very much! for loving me enough to let me feel your touch and for sending me guardian angels in form of friends.
They have surely been God sent
Thank You Lord; it’s Sunday again.
