- Steve Jobs is one person that will always interest me because he was always determined to succeed at any cost.
He was born to an American mother and a Syrian father- Joanne Carole Schieble and Abdul Fattah John Jandali.
A week after his birth, his unmarried mother put him up for adoption.
Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, Santa Clara County, California who gave him the name Steve Paul Jobs in February 1955 adopted him.
His biological parents, Abdul Fattah and Joanne later married and gave birth to his sister, the novelist Mona Simpson, whom he did not meet until they were adults.
He was not happy at school in Mountain View so his adopted family moved to Los Altos, California, where he attended Homestead High School.
He was different from all the other students in his class and his electronics teacher, Hohn McCollum said that he was a loner and had a different way of looking at things.
He never had a college education, but attended calligraphy classes that has made a great and major impact in the technological world today.
He built his first computer at the age of twenty-one with his friend Steve Wozniak in his garage. They both went into business together.
On April 1, 1976, Apple Computer Company was incorporated.
Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs designed the Apple I computer in Steve Jobs’ bedroom.
He sold his first Apple computer for $666.66
Steve is currently the CEO of Apple Computer and is a leading figure in both the computer and entertainment industries.
He has also been the Chairman and CEO of Pixar Animation Studios, since its inception.
