Today, I tried to be in school very early, in order to be at the front row in class because of the large population of students in my class. When I get to school I look for somewhere to sit down in order to get myself. A few minutes to the start of my lecture I left the place I was sitting and walked towards the class. On my way, I saw some my course mates and they told me that the lecturer has not yet come to school. I still decided to go to the class with some of my friends hoping that he will come. We waited for about five minutes, when the lecturer did not show up, we went to another lecturer, who was also teaching the same course if he could fill up for the other lecturer. When we got to his office, he was very busy recording the result of 200 level students. He told us that he could not take us that we should still go and wait for the other lecturer that he may come. We went back to the class and waited for about 2hours, unfortunately the lecturer did not show up. It wasn’t a pleasant experience at all and our lecturers should please endeavor to attend their lectures and if they are going to be absent, they should relay a message to the class governor for effective information dissemination.
