
Professor Adebayo Ayinla Lawal of the Department of History and Strategic Studies will deliver the 8th inaugural lecture for the 2005/2006 academic session later today, Wednesday, June 7th, 2006. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Oye Ibidapo-Obe, will chair the lecture which will hold at the Main auditorium at 4:00pm. Members of the university community are cordially invited to the lecture entitled: “Corruption in Nigeria;a colonial legacy”.


















I suggest this lecture be attended by all irrespective of your position because nigerians need be enlightened on corruption and its effect or else with the situation of things, corruption will soon be constitutionalized as lawful and legalised as a course of study in educational institutions. Pls we need more of lectures of sort especially at this point in time i.e 2007 election arround the corner.
