I went to the bank yesterday to withdraw N3000. After collecting the money, I was told by the cashier that I had a balance of N60,000. At first, I smiled a knowing smile: knowing fully well that I didn’t have such an amount in my account. But after the cashier checked again, it was still the same. I wondered who must have made the mistake, the computer or the cashier. I hope the mistake remains; won’t be such a bad idea after all! I’m just kidding. No, I don’t intend to claim the money because, truth is, it isn’t mine. If the money is still ‘floating’ in my account on my next visit to the bank, I will ”undeceive” them. But, how careless!

Firstly, i must commmend the initiators of this website for their fertile imagination. It`s really wonderful… students ought to spend their time being positively creative than joining confraternities. As regards Lara`s entry- Yea the mistake will actually come from the banks teller who keyed in the erroneous figure. I work in a bank and once in a while i make such mistakes, but if you are unlucky, crime -minded people will cash in on the opprtunity, withdraw the money and move straight on. Every bank is meant to have an internal control officer who monitors all transactions. That the error still remains after that day is an indictment on the bank`s control officer, otherwise some loved ones may have credited your account without informing you… so try your luck further.
