In the last episode of the fired blogger, I made mention of how I met one of the officials working in the SIWES department and what he said about getting a letter from the ofiice I got fired from. Well, I hope you are staying blogged to this blogsite and this series. Today, I was in anticipation to meet my new employer but the plans I made with my uncle were disrupted by other pressing matters. “What to do, then?” I thought. I was unhappy and decided to work on the “About us ” page of our blogsite with my colleague. After this, my colleague told me to get pictures for the home page of our blog. I searched and got some really nice pictures. But in the course of my search, I decided to type on the search bar “African iPod” and this image to the left came up. “Good God!!!” I exclaimed. “Why should a black man always be assumed to be suffering. How has an iPod that’s supposed to make life easier become a burden to a black man.” On second thoughts, I began to ponder, “Could Steve Jobs and Apple be collaborating with Nicholas Negroponte and the United Nations, in an attempt to help Africa, include this with the 100-dollar laptop?” Hey, don’t quote me.

yea, i really wonder why everything abot Africans most be potrayed as suffering, how i wish i could correct this, too bad, i’m not the only pebble on the beach.
