José Mário dos Santos Félix Mourinho was born on January 26, 1963 in Setúbal, Portugal, to a Portuguese goalkeeper whose playing career consisted of a few generally unsuccessful spells at small clubs. But young Mourinho rose to excellence in his little suburb and across the globe through an endowed clear aptitude, as well as impressive management and organizational attitude which he developed consistently from his early days.
Looking through his profile, I was stunned to find out that this man has no record as a football player himself but by having a clear mindset about himself, he made it to the top, setting unbeatable records along the way, winning excellence trophies and, above all, achieving the status of the highest paid football manager in Europe and beyond. Even coaches like Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Rafael Benitez, Frank Rijkaard and many more across Europe could declare a public holiday if their team beats Mourinho’s team.
Mourinho has proved that by believing in yourself and, with passion, doing what you like best, one can achieve unbelievable results in all works of life as he has done in the football world.
Just forty-three years of age, he and his club stand like sheep among wolves. Amid all this, his team almost always seems to produce good and stunning results, shutting the mouths of their several critics. Arrogant though he is, he has been able to back his brags up with quality on the field of play.
Presently, he is manager of English Premiership club,Chelsea FC, where he has almost sealed up the Premiership for the second straight season. Right now, he has his sights set on next season with the goal of getting a perfect Chelsea FC that would win the famed “treble” of the FA Cup, the Premiership and the UEFA Champions League.
Mourinho’s role as a 21st century team boss is facilitated by the fact that he speaks several languages. He has also adopted a scientific approach to coaching, sometimes asking his players to study videos of their own performances at home, while also working closely with dietary specialists. He also incorporates American-style management techniques, giving pep-talks, using ‘buzzwords’, and asking his players to sacrifice personal ambitions for the success of the team.
You may not want to be a coach, and unlike me, may not be a Chelsea fan, but with an attitude like Mourinho’s, you could achieve results that would stay unbeaten for a long time, and achieve your fullest potentials in life.

I know he’s arrogant, but I personally believe he’s one of the best coaches. Call me biased, but that’s my point of view
