“The most essential factor is persistence – the determination never to allow your energy or enthusiasm to be dampened by the discouragement that must inevitably come.” James Whitcomb Riley.
One of the keys to success is having clearly-defined goals which you must focus on. You will never become successful looking at your present state, condition or at the lives of those you know that are not successful. You need to take your mind off any obstacles before you, and move forward. You must be able to see beyond your present situation and visualize yourself at the end of your goals. Success does not come to those who are afraid to take those crucial first steps; neither does it come to those who wait for it. Success only comes to those who are willing to learn and work hard until they achieve their dreams. Watching my little niece learn to walk made me see the importance of persistence. I remember a particular day when she fell and cut her upper-lip. After much crying she stood up and tried to walk again. Even as a child, her instincts told her to take that step. When she fell she didn’t stay down but got up and tried again. Her goal was to walk and she was ready to work at it until she succeeded. Just like a little child, your goals and dreams have to be driven by ambition, zeal, desire, enthusiasm and persistence. One thing I have learnt is never to let my enthusiasm die. Once your enthusiasm is gone, in most cases, there is really no chance to succeed. Remember to clearly define your goals and not be afraid to reach for them. Be enthusiastic! If you fail, try and try and try again, and success will come your way, sooner than later. Success is in your future if you are willing to work for it. Goals are visions with wings, so get ready to fly.

Yeah great article. Fly like an eagle into the sky.
